A few snaps taken with the wide aperture SMC 50mm f1.2. Camera used was Pentax MX. Film Ilford PanF Plus 50 ISO. Rated at 25 ISO, developed in Rodinal Dilution 50+1 @ 20 degrees C for 11 minutes.
Pan F’s incredible exposure latitude can be seen in these images. Rodinal is an excellent developer often feared by photographers due to its high actuance. Most people prefer to use a solvent developer such as ID11 or Perceptol. I feel the compensating effect of Rodinal overrules the desire for minimum grain.

Mostly metered in the shadow areas. The negatives are very sharp indeed and would easily enlarge to 16X20 inches. These images are low-resolution scans made with my old and trusty Plustek 8100. The scans are basic Silverfast, and I do not adjust the scans or JPEG files.
Hello Timothy,
Excellent pictures. I tried responding by the comment section, but I don’t think it took. Did you ever get around to transcribing your e-books on film development and work? I would love to have a copy of that when available. Thanks.
Yes it should be published in early July. I’ll send you a link as it will be free download for with a link for a week or so. Many thanks for your kind words and patience.
